an interesting tidbitI just got back from my readings, checked the markets and… OH MY GOODNESS! Then I started to read a few of my backed up financial newsletters and blogs and plucked this interesting quote from Investment Postcards From Capetown that I thought some of my readers might enjoy. “The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced. The arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced. If the nation doesn’t want to go bankrupt, people must learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.“ - Cicero, 55 BC. It made me smile, so I wanted to share it before I forgot. Bye, I’m off to read the rest of it and then catch up on a couple days of Richard Russell’s Dow Theory Letters, Daily Remarks. Fun, fun, fun. I had a great day and will write more later.
