A brief update

Just noticed I’d left you in the lurch, dangling on a cliff hanger.

Was the marinade delicious or not?
Yes, it was very tasty!

Have I spit in the test tube yet?
No, the fancy spit-in-the-test-tube-to-unlock-the-mysteries-of-the-world has not arrived yet, but when it does, I’ll let you know.

Where the hell have you been and why haven’t you blogged?
I’ve been trapped in moving madness, packing and unpacking a gazillion boxes, and NO it’s not over yet!  Tomorrow we find out if the subjects have been removed or not at my beloved island retreat that might soon be some other family’s heaven on earth and if they do remove the subjects, then it’s hop on the ferry to load up that house as well, since they would take possession on May 15th!

Let me tell you, I am going to be VERY happy when all this moving stuff is over!  But… even though I’m well and truly pooped and we are only 1/2 the way through… WE ARE LOVING OUR NEW HOME!!  It feels right.  Like this might be it.  Like I might never have to move again.

Now that would be bliss.  Pure unadulterated bliss!

Okay, back to the boxes.  Just wanted to give you an update.  Oh and guess what else?  My daughter is sleeping cozy upstairs and my boy Dave came over last night, and my other boy Will comes home in three weeks.  Could life get any better?  I’m sitting here, with a big soppy smile on my face.

Alright now, enough of this joy stuff, gotta get back to work.  Boxes, boxes, boxes await!
